so i just watched this video online about the Australian hardcore scene…well, more like, the Sydney hardcore scene. it was interesting to say the least. in summary, it was basically every hardcore band in Sydney ganging up on Capture the Crown’s recent success. they’re all just jealous that they didn’t think of the “strategy” first.
who are capture the crown, you ask? well, they’re a band from sydney who uploaded a music video on youtube and racked up over 1 million views in a few months. and they’ve never played a live show in their life. they recently just announced a US tour with Woe Is Me & Chunk! No Captain Chunk!

anyway. i think their strategy is smart, and it worked. sure, it’s unfair to all those other bands who actually play shows and do the “norm”, but how far is that gonna take you?
